Emma Gibbons

I graduated from Bolton college in june 1995 as a fully qualified beauty therpist and fitness insructor. At the age of 18 I started my career working in a beauty salon and teaching aerobics and step classes in the evenings. By the time I was 19 I was working on board RCCL cruise ships as a beauty therapist and fitness director. In June 2002 I graduated from Bolton Institute with a certificate in education enabling me to teach beauty theapy in further education, which I presently do at Wigan and leigh college. Aura will be a place you always remember as being a relaxing and calming experiance, with candle lit rooms and soothing music. Every treatment you experiance will be performed to the highest standard, leaving you feeling that when you are at AURA you are the most important person.

CAROLINE BOWMAN

After leaving school in 2002 I trained at the image centre at Wigan and Leigh college to study for my NVQ level 2, which I completed in 2003. I then started to do a 2 year NVQ Level 3 beauty therapy course which I have just completed in april 2005. I joined Emma and the girls in october 2004 whilst finishing off my NVQ. Since joining aura I have been on numerous training courses's such as Elemis , jessica and nimue.

KAREN HARGEAVES

Fully qualified nail technician with over 9 years experience, Karen specialize in sculptured, tips, acrylic and gel nails and is also qualified in a acrylic toe nail application. Karen joined us in 2005 and has proven to be very popular.

KATIE McCARTHY

Fully qualified as a beauty therapist in 2005 and is currently continuing in education studying a level 4 beauty course, which will provide specific advanced skills in, management, advanced electrolysis, hot stones and semi-permanent make-up. Katie is the newest team member and is proving be excellent in all areas of the daily activities especially with electrolysis.
